About Hanson
Coffee has come a long way since its beginnings in the Ethiopian hills in the 9th century. For thousands of years, coffee Arabica has grown wild in the forests of Ethiopia’s Southwestern Highlands. Today, more than 12 million Ethiopians work in the coffee industry and engage in coffee ceremonies. Ethiopian coffee is highly sought for around the world, making it the most important export crop. Hanson believes that coffee, also referred to as the “Green Gold ” could be utilized more to reach different parts of the world further and make it a hard currency earner in Ethiopia. This is why the company has a deep desire to produce a unique coffee taste in terms of aroma, acidity and flavor by using different processing, preparation methods and altering different composition levels.
